EXHIBIT/Human Until September 27 Forte di Belvedere Via di San Leonardo 1, Florence Forte di Belvedere is open throughout August (except Mondays) and there’s no better time to take in Antony Gormley’s acclaimed exhibition ‘Human,’ exploring the connections between art, anatomy and space. Turner Prize winner Gormley chose Forte di Belvedere for its past defensive functions and symbolic implications of power and force. The show features life-size sculptures purposefully dispersed throughout the site, ‘encouraging the viewer to think about who they are and how they negotiate the spaces around them.’ Call 055/2768558 or visit www.gormleyfirenze.it for more information.

CLIMB/Sunset at San Niccolò

Guides speak English, Italian, French and Spanish. Advance booking is recommended; call 055/2768224 or email info@muse.comune.fi.it. Note: the tower will be closed on rainy evenings.
