We’re here to put the recently launched brunch menu to the test. Available every Saturday and Sunday, it’s a choose-your-own-adventure affair, with something to satisfy every kind of brunch enthusiast. British diners can opt for the reassuring familiarity of a bacon and egg breakfast, while the health conscious can stay on track with the salmon and quinoa powerbowl.
For those embracing full indulgence, the jalapeño-hot chicken and waffles arrive ready to be drenched in maple syrup and peanut butter, while the borderline outrageous brunch burger takes things even further, crowned with an egg and generously finished with hollandaise sauce. On the drinks side, the Hard Rock Bloody Mary is an unmissable showstopper: spicy, dramatic and decorated with a full rasher of bacon, a celery stalk and cocktail sticks loaded with gherkins and olives.

A trio of waiters appeared to sing “Happy Birthday” to a delighted teenager, a quintessential Hard Rock moment.
If weekends don’t fit the schedule, the weekday breakfast menu is equally tempting. Expect buttermilk pancakes, poached eggs with avocado toast, waffles with maple syrup, cream cheese and smoked salmon bagels, cinnamon-vanilla French toast or a full cooked breakfast.
No visit to Hard Rock Cafe Florence is complete without a browse through the shop, where the Messi collection sits alongside Florence-inspired merchandise. A particular highlight is the black T-shirt featuring a rock ’n’ roll take on Michelangelo’s David, a souvenir from a city where art and attitude have always shared the same stage.
