Fratelli Piccini is much more than a 113-year-old artisan jewellery maker and top brand retailer on the Ponte Vecchio (think Patek Philippe, Mikimoto, Vhernier, Corum and Messika).

This September, the Piccini family continue their golden work on the charitable front through two major initiatives. On September 7–13, Florence will welcome the Italian edition of Celebrity Fight Night, organized by world-famous tenor Andrea Bocelli, now in its third consecutive year. Fratelli Piccini is a proud supporter of the sparkling charity event, this year sponsoring a private train taking 160 VIPs from Florence to Venice and back.

On the way to the Lagoon City, guests will enjoy a culinary creation by Michelin-starred chef Peter Brunel, of Lungarno Collection’s Borgo San Jacopo restaurant. Tailor-made for the occasion and presented in a uniquely hand-crafted box, the culinary gem resembles the jewels in their display cases in Fratelli Piccini’s recently renovated atelier on Florence’s iconic bridge. Five of these confections will contain an extra special treat for five ladies: an item of Fratelli Piccini jewellery to be worn during the day trip to Venice.

All proceeds from Celebrity Fight Night go to the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, which helps people in need due to illness, poverty and social exclusion, and the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center, part of Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, one of the most comprehensive Parkinson’s treatment centres in the world.

The philanthropic work switches focus on September 25 with the sponsorship of the Golf Challenge for FILE. Held at the Circolo Golf Ugolino, just outside Florence, the annual event is open to all golf players, both adults and children.

Fratelli Piccini has been supporting this fun sporting event since 2010, with all monies going to Fondazione Italiana di Leniterapia, a charity ensuring that terminally ill patients and their families receive the support they need, as well as promoting scientific research and continued professional development in the medical field. At the end of the challenge, Fratelli Piccini will host an exclusive cocktail dinner with DJ set at the golf course for players, their families and select guests.
