Giant

James Deans last movie (he died days after finishing it) and his least appealing, especially in the latter part where the youth icon is compelled to age. As the younger Jett Rink, Dean has all the attractiveness of his rebellious persona, but is perhaps upstaged by megastars Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson. A long, rambling Texan epic that might have languished in obscurity but for the circumstances of Deans death and his legendary status.
