You think you know who you are. You have no idea. Paul
Haggiss intense and revealing movie Crash plays on this idea to confront the
inherent racism lurking in the subconscious of each one of us. Cross-cutting
through the lives of a (racially) disparate cross section of L.A. residents,
the movie focuses on the heat and more importantly the light generated by the
politically incorrect melting pot friction (crash) that is life in a modern
city. With strong performances by Matt Dillon as the racist cop and Sandra
Bullock as the District Attorneys wife, it ranks among the best movies of
2005. The hope is that by the end you might just have a better idea of who you
are.
