Ditta Artigianale celebrates 10 years of business by opening a kiosk on the ground floor of Florence’s San Lorenzo Market and throwing a party at its original premises in via dei Neri.

Soon the kiosk will have more permanent branding and staging

Founded in Florence in 2013 by award-winning barista Francesco Sanapo and entrepreneur Patrick Hoffer, the coffee kiosk (look for stall number 101) at the Mercato Centrale Storico serves specialty coffee, signature coffees and other beverages daily from 7.30am to 3pm. The sweet-toothed will find it hard to resist the enticing pastry selection as well as the AVO bar format at front and centre of the lunchtime menu.

“Today is a dream come true as we become part of a place that is a symbol of local Florentine life,” explains Francesco Sanapo. “It is an incredible honour for a young company like ours to be able to become part of a place so rich in history and tradition like the Mercato Centrale Storico, which is one of the most authentic places in the city.”

The opening comes as Ditta Artigianale celebrates the tenth anniversary of its original premises and birthplace of the brand in via dei Neri. Don’t miss the party starting at 3.30pm today (May 8), complete with a DJ, free filter coffee and a live painting session by Florentine artist Colla. The event is free and open to the public.
