Tronata: A hard fall.

 

Example: ‘Maremma, che tronata ho battuto con la bicicletta!’ (‘Damn, I took a hard fall on my bike!’)

 

 

Va’ ia: Oh, please.

 

Example: ‘Ma va’ ia! Icché tu credi di fare?’ (‘Oh, please! What do you think you are doing?’)

 

 

Covaccino: Very thin schiacciata (flat bread).

 

Example: ‘Vieni si va a prendere un covaccino pe’ merenda.’ (‘Come on, we’ll go get a covaccino for a snack.’)
