And to make the contest more challenging: heavy rain, transport strikes and even an earthquake.

On September 13, photography buffs took to Florence’s streets: 1 day to capture the city’s positive side, a photo marathon organized by Percezioni Fotografiche with Leica Store Firenze, Lungarno Collection and The Florentine. And to make the contest more challenging: heavy rain, transport strikes and even an earthquake. In an expression of eternal optimism, 72 photographers participated despite the tricky conditions, coaxing out the light on a grey, overcast Florence day.
